Featured Event: Fall Organizational Meeting

• SeaDeucers' next meeting will be:

  • Presenter ~ Peter Brueggeman
  • Title ~ Under the Ice - Antarctic SCUBA Diving

Peter will talk about the underwater ice world, scenery, and organisms
while diving under the ice in the vicinity of McMurdo Station, at 77
degree South latitude, the farthest south diving location in the world.
Though it sounds like it would be rufty-tufty diving, it isn't
extraordinarily difficult provided you're well-equipped with drysuit and
undergarments, are comfortable being encumbered with gear, aren't
claustrophobic, and can tolerate cold and occasional discomfort to some
degree. Except for the claustrophobic part, that description describes
diving in San Diego year round, doesn't it? All this and more will be
presented. top 100 most interesting marine life residents at La Jolla Shores and
 submarine canyon area.
